XP Batea Gold Pan Kit

I ordered this kit, and the folks at High Plains forgot to pack my snuffer bottle, magnifier, etc.. It was a bit disappointing but I reached out to them and they quickly fixed the error. They were even so kind as to ship it to a different address and different country than my original order. The folks at High Plains are honest and extremely helpful. A++ for customer service!

Great kit, I already have a metal large betea pan and it works great. This pan though is much lighter. It has lips I can hook bungee cords to making it much easier to attach to my pack. It's blue also which helps my older eyes see those tiny specs. Great service and shipping times as always. Thanks again!

Receivet this today as a gift 🎁 opened the box.
Moved to my panning table (no seasoning or cleaning of the Batea) grabbed about a teaspoon of my black sands discard pile , dumped in the pan swriled it under water 3 or 4 times slowly dumping while swerling, down to 5 or 6 tiny grains of black sand. No gold.. oops look at the sand under my 10x loupe there is a piece of gold no hint visible to just the eyes. I'm hooked.

This pan is absolutely perfect and easy to use. I received everything but the spacers.
