I bought this lanyard for my Nokta Pointer (not the pulsedrive pinpointer), and had not realized it did not have the larger ring to attach to the back end of the pointer. Nokta only has the retractable lanyard with flimsy wire ring available, which I did not want. So I just fabricated my own ring to use with this lanyard. It works great!
Just make sure whatever pointer you have has an attachment point for the small ring.
High Plains was nice enough to make a note of the issue on their site to avoid confusion for others.
But I would recommend this lanyard. Especially for the price. It is lightweight and sturdy after about 10 hours of use so far.
