We live in SW Colorado and years ago, as in 40, we had a basic metal detector but had great fun with it. What an amazing company. Their salesman spent time with me a first time buyer and help me get just what I needed. In a 50 acre area of woods. We were looking for an old army site for historical reasons. In five minutes we found an ax, buried 6 inches under the ground. And the next hour we found evidence of the actual sawmill. Our first day at the beach, we found eight coins, a really old knife and other things. We found an old Japanese camp in the jungles in Hawaii. And that site and one day we found Japanese , gardening tools, bottles by chance and lots of other things that we don’t know what they are yet. What an amazing piece of equipment and the price was much less than I thought. I’ll always shop with High Plains prospectors. Thank you guys much.

As a newbie to the hobby I'm not qualified to comment on the 440 other than to say it finds coins and odd pieces of metal and I am having fun with it. The bundle includes the basics (trowel, sheath, headphones, finds bag), but I wish I had bought a shovel to go with it. The people at High Plains were helpful and efficient. Thank you.
