Recommended Operation

Classify material before feeding it into the sluice. Begin with moderate water flow and introduce material gradually, allowing the lighter material to clear before adding more.

Adjust the sluice angle and water flow until unwanted material moves steadily through the system without flushing heavier material from the recovery area. Operating requirements may vary depending on material size, clay content, black sand, and the amount of water available.

When using a recirculating setup, select a reservoir large enough to supply the pump and capture discharged material. Allow tailings to settle before the water returns to the pump.
