Fisher Gold Bug Pro Metal Detector Bundle with Free GP Pointer Free Gear

I purchased the Fisher Gold Bug Pro after seeing Chris Ralph's YouTube video in which he recommends it to prospectors who would like to start learning the skill of nugget detecting on a capably sufficient machine, but do not have a large enough budget to buy one of the super high grade metal detectors. He explains that he has personally used it to find gold nuggets and has had success on multiple occasions. He also goes on to demonstrate proper set up and method of usage, and explains the features and how they work in the video; I felt confident I would be able to use it properly utilizing his guidance.
This detector is every bit of a game changer I expected it would be, and it has a ferrous indicator which saves you a lot of wasted effort and disappointment,there's a lot of iron trash out there after all. It takes some getting used to, but as long as you listen for the faint up down signals, don't dig up every ferrous screamer and have enough patient determination to not give up when you get skunked, you'll get the hang of it. Its loud enough to be heard clearly without headphones and sensitive enough to pick up little placer deposits pinned under boulders or buried in bench gravels. To get the best results you have to go where the geology is right for gold so do your geology homework and you'll have better results. This detector can also be used for beach detecting as it has an All Metal Mode if you're looking for coins,jewelry or whatever but its specialized for finding gold pickers and small gold nuggets.
The bundle is super handy because it includes some very necessary accessories that you will find to be crucial for detecting in the field. The plastic scoop in the bundle is mando for digging up targets quickly and the precision pin pointer also included in the bundle makes you that much more efficient at locating exactly where the target is buried. The included specimen bag ensures your finds are safely kept and the digital scale tells you how much your finds weigh. A utility belt holster for the precision pin pointer detector was also included making it easy to access in a pinch. This bundle is also supposed to include a 2-inch loupe but I did not receive one in my bundle upon delivery, so I just ended up buying a better loupe separately, that's really the only negative thing I can say about my purchase. I am very pleased and will definitely be making more purchases from High Plains Prospectors in the future.

I chose the Fisher GB 2 pro based on a lot of reviews, but especially Chris Ralph's on youtube, for budget entry level detectors for gold nugget detecting. And he had a discount code for High Plains Detectors, who were very helpful answering my questions via their website. I am a complete newb at metal detecting, but after reading the manual I went out on my first field test and was able to ground balance, find small targets, and distinguish the ferrous from non ferrous very easily. No gold, haha, but I wasnt expecting any in the place I was detecting. The package deal I got included a bunch of very useful tools that I didnt have, and really needed for a few dollars more, and with discout, it was a good deal. I have already made and recieved a second order from High Plains, they are a solid outfit. If I ever make a strike , I'm sure I'll be back for more! Thank You very much.
