Falcon Gold Finishing Pan – Blue
The Falcon Gold Finishing Pan is designed for the final cleanup of gold concentrates. Once most of the lighter material has been removed, its wide bottom and finely textured surface help separate stubborn black sand from fine gold.
Unlike a conventional gold pan, the Falcon finishing pan has no large riffles. Instead, its side features a unique microgroove texture that helps hold fine gold while allowing black sand to wash gently away. The light blue color provides excellent contrast, making both gold and dark concentrates easier to see.

The smooth outer edge can be dipped into water without creating the abrupt wave produced by a raised rim. As the pan is drawn back, black sand can slide down the textured side while the heavier fine gold remains behind.
This is a finishing and cleanup pan intended for classified concentrates. Use a standard riffled gold pan or other processing equipment for the initial removal of larger amounts of gravel and lighter material.

It is a light blue plastic, wide bottom finishing pan which has no riffles, only a unique microgroove texture to the side of the pan which lets you clean that last bit of black sand off your gold. There is no lip to cause the water to wave up the side as you slide the edge of the pan into the water. As you pull the pan back out of the water the black sand slips gently down the side of the pan while the fine gold stays put. The pan is 11 inches in diameter with a 7 inch diameter bottom. This pan is also excellent for packing along with your Falcon Metal Detector for sampling. Like the Falcon metal detector, this is one of those products which is unique and well worth the money.
