Doc’s Gold Screamer® Search Coil Cover Tape
Keep your search coil skid plate securely attached with Doc’s Gold Screamer Coil Cover Tape. This durable gray cloth tape wraps around the edge of the search coil and skid plate, helping prevent the cover from loosening while detecting in brush, rocks, sand, and rough terrain.
The tape has a matte, neutral-gray finish. Although it may appear metallic in some photographs, it contains no metal and is designed to avoid interference with detector performance.

Long-Lasting Roll
Approximately four feet of tape is needed to secure the cover on a typical 14-inch round search coil. One roll contains enough tape for more than 42 coils of that size, depending on the wrapping method and amount of overlap used.
Application
Clean and dry the outside edge of the search coil and skid plate before applying. Wrap the tape around the perimeter with enough overlap to hold the skid plate securely in place.
Periodically remove the tape and skid plate to clean out trapped sand, dirt, or mineralized material. Search coil and skid plate are not included.
