The lightweight carbon-fiber upper shaft provides excellent rigidity while reducing unnecessary weight. Its nonmetallic construction also keeps metal away from the detector’s control box and search coil.

Mount a different search coil to each lower shaft and leave the coil hardware installed. When conditions change, swap the complete lower-shaft assembly instead of removing and reinstalling the coil bolt each time.
