What Makes the Black Widow Platinum Different?

Exceptional 29 dB Noise Isolation

Many metal detecting headphones provide some protection against background noise, but the Black Widow series is engineered specifically for demanding listening environments.

Its oversized, extended earcups provide up to 29 decibels of passive ambient noise reduction.

This makes them particularly useful when detecting near:

• Busy roads and highways

• Beaches with heavy surf noise

• Windy fields and open terrain

• Other locations with significant background noise

By reducing surrounding distractions, these headphones help you concentrate on subtle changes in target audio.

Platinum Series Speaker Upgrade

The Platinum Series features upgraded speaker elements designed to provide higher-quality sound reproduction.

Clear target audio can be especially valuable when searching for deep coins, partially masked relics, and small targets that produce faint or inconsistent signals.

Dual Volume Controls for Personalized Listening

Not everyone hears equally well in both ears.

The Black Widow Platinum headphones feature two independent rotary volume controls, allowing you to adjust the audio level for each ear separately.

The segmented, click-positioned controls help maintain your preferred settings throughout your hunt.

Switchable Signal-Limiting Circuitry

The Black Widow's high-output design makes volume management especially important.

A dedicated limiter switch allows you to engage the built-in signal-limiting circuit to help reduce unexpectedly loud target responses.

Important Hearing Safety Note: These headphones are capable of producing high audio levels. Start with low headphone volume settings and increase gradually to a comfortable listening level. Use the signal limiter when appropriate.

DetectorPro Black Widow Platinum Headphones with 1/4″ Angle Plug for Metal Detector

The DetectorPro Platinum Series is an upgrade of most of their popular headphone models.

The upgrade involves the addition of new, high end, crystal clear sounding speakers.

These heavy-duty headphones provide maximum volume, sensitivity, efficiency, durability, and signal quality. Also backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Black Widow headphones were designed to accommodate the professional detectorist with special hearing requirements and for environments with high ambient noise levels.

Large extended muffs are designed to block ambient noise to a higher degree for hunt sites in proximity to urban traffic and surf roar.

The Black Widow contains a dual mini-toggle switching system like our famous Gray Ghost Ultimate.

One switch provides greater compatibility with detector audio systems and the other switch allows signal limitation when extreme volume is not required.

Also provided are two independent volume controls for those detectorists with unequal hearing ability in each ear.

You still get our “industry first” quality components, design and construction without compromise.

Black Widows are “deadly”, but guaranteed not to “Sting” you!
