An excellent protective accessory for detectorists using the larger coil for increased ground coverage.
Important: Select the correct coil size. A support made for the 11-inch coil is not intended to fit the 17-inch coil, or vice versa.
Installation & Additional Protection
The reinforced support is designed to fit around the coil mounting-ear area.
For additional retention, dealer installation guidance suggests securing the support with zip ties at the grooves near its base.
Some dealers also mention the optional use of plastic-compatible two-part epoxy. However, permanent adhesive may affect your search coil's warranty.
Important: This accessory is intended to provide reinforcement against normal operating pressure. It does not make the mounting ears unbreakable and should not be relied upon to withstand heavy force, severe impacts, or using the detector as a support when standing up.

Minelab CTX 3030 coil support for the 11" or 17" coil. As you may know the ears of the CTX 3030 coils can sometime snap off the coil. A slight tweak and snap your coil is trash. To replace the 11” coil it will cost $349! Our coil supports are custom made to fit exact to each size coil. Not one size fits all like many other brands.
A 6" coil support is currently unavailable for the CTX.
