Recommended Setup and Operation
For the best results, classify material before feeding it into the sluice. Begin with a moderate slope and water flow, then make small adjustments until lighter material steadily clears the mat without overwhelming the vortex cells.
Feed material gradually and evenly. Avoid dumping large amounts into the sluice at once, as excessive feed rates can reduce separation and recovery efficiency. When operating as a recirculating system, use a sufficiently large reservoir and allow tailings to settle before water returns to the pump.
