Gold Cube 3/4" Pipe Thread × 1-1/8" Hose-Barb Fitting – New Style

Replace a lost, damaged, or leaking water fitting on a compatible Gold Cube 3-Stack or 4-Stack system. This new-style Gold Cube fitting uses a 3/4-inch male pipe thread on one end and a 1-1/8-inch hose barb on the other.

The threaded end installs into the Gold Cube’s water inlet, while the barbed end connects to the standard 1-1/8-inch pump hose used with the system.

This fitting is intended for compatible newer Gold Cube 3-Stack and 4-Stack concentrators that use a 3/4-inch threaded inlet.

Gold Cube accessories do not all use the same thread size. The Gold Banker and Nugget Zone commonly use a different 1-inch pipe-thread fitting. Check your existing fitting or equipment inlet before ordering.

Installation

1. Disconnect the pump and drain the system.

2. Remove the old fitting from the Gold Cube.

3. Clean the threaded opening.

4. Apply a compatible thread sealant if recommended for your system.

5. Start the fitting by hand to prevent cross-threading.

6. Tighten only enough to create a secure seal.

7. Slide the 1-1/8-inch hose over the barbed end.

8. Install an appropriately sized hose clamp when required.

9. Run the pump and inspect the connection for leaks.

Because the fitting is plastic, avoid overtightening it. Excessive force may damage the fitting or the Gold Cube’s threaded inlet.
