Feel and See Target Responses

The Vibra-Tector communicates through pulses of vibration and flashes from a bright white LED. Target responses increase as the search coil moves closer to metal, helping the user judge the target’s approximate location and distance.

Important Operating Information

Movement of the search coil is required to detect a target. Sweep the coil back and forth across the search area. Slower sweeps may improve detection depth, and the strongest portion of the detection field is near the center of the coil.

Before submerging the detector, make sure the battery-compartment compression seal is fully inserted and tightened by hand. An improperly secured seal may allow water to enter the battery compartment.

Care Instructions

Rinse the detector thoroughly with clean freshwater after every saltwater hunt. Check the battery compartment for moisture and allow it to dry completely if water is present. Remove the battery before long-term storage to prevent damage from possible leakage.
