Important Testing Information

The item being tested must be properly cleaned, and the testing solution must be fresh for dependable results. Testing solution should never be left in the test well after use. For 20K–24K testing, the reference-gold surface must be cleaned according to the manufacturer’s instructions before each test.

The testing solution should be replaced no later than six months after opening. Always read the bottle’s safety warning and the complete owner’s manual before operation.

The M24 is intended as a guide for determining gold karat ranges. Unusual alloys, plated items, palladium, platinum and improper testing procedures may affect readings.
