Prospectors Dream Clean-Up Buddy Mini Highbanker Kit
The Prospectors Dream Clean-Up Buddy is a compact recirculating cleanup sluice designed for fine-gold concentrates, paydirt, and small classified samples. Its desktop-size frame, adjustable 110-volt pump, and removable Banjo Micro Dream Mat create a convenient cleanup system for the garage, workshop, campsite, RV, or hotel.
Place the unit in a shallow tub of water, connect the pump, adjust the flow, and gradually feed classified material into the upper tray. The Dream Mat’s vortex cells allow lighter material to exchange while capturing heavier gold throughout the recovery section.

Setup and Operation
Place the Clean-Up Buddy inside a stable plastic tub containing approximately three inches of clean water. Position the pump so it remains completely submerged, then connect it to the sluice.
Classify material to 1/4 inch or smaller before processing. Start with restricted water flow and gradually adjust it until lighter material clears the Dream Mat without forcing heavy material through the final cells.
Feed small amounts at a controlled rate. Allow each portion to exchange before adding more material. If gold begins collecting near the final cells, reduce the feed rate, lower the water flow, or perform a cleanout.
Water and Electrical Safety
Because this version uses a 110-volt pump around water:

Connect it only to a properly protected GFCI outlet.

Keep the electrical plug and connection completely dry.

Form a drip loop in the power cord below the outlet.

Never handle the plug with wet hands.

Unplug the pump before adjusting or cleaning the unit.

Never operate the pump without water.

Follow all pump-manufacturer safety instructions.
Cleanup
Disconnect the pump before removing the Dream Mat. Lift the mat from the sluice and rinse it thoroughly into a clean gold pan or tub.
Frequent cleanouts are recommended when processing black-sand-rich concentrates. The short recovery section works best when its cells have enough open capacity to continue exchanging lighter material.
Care and Storage
The Clean-Up Buddy’s 3D-printed components should be protected from prolonged heat and ultraviolet exposure. Extended storage in direct sunlight, a hot vehicle, or another high-temperature location may cause fading, warping, cracking, or deterioration.
Rinse the unit after use and store it clean, dry, and out of direct sunlight.
