Package Includes

Basic Setup
Support the sluice securely at a suitable operating angle and connect the spray bar to a compatible water supply. Begin with moderate water flow, then use the valve to adjust the flow until material moves evenly through the molded riffles without washing valuable heavies out of the recovery zones.
Feed classified material gradually and evenly for the best recovery. To clean the sluice, stop the water, tilt the unit and rinse the captured concentrates into a suitable container.
Choosing the Correct Version
This is the closed-ended model with an attached spray bar, designed for powered or recirculating use. Prospectors seeking a traditional in-stream configuration should select the open-ended Le’ Trap sluice sold separately.
The le Trap sluice is made of light weight wear-resistant green plastic. 16 inches wide and 40 inches long but weighs only 4 pounds. The sluice box riffles are designed with a two-step ramp which allows the sluice to recover fine gold without vibrating or the use of a carpet liner. Designed and manufactured in Canada for decades it is now made in the USA from the original molds. This is the high banker version with a closed end at the header. Open ended stream sluice is available.
