The Gold Pup Mini Highbanker is a compact two-stage gold-recovery system built for sampling, recreational prospecting, and processing classified material. Its portable aluminum design can be operated beside a stream or placed over a suitable tub to create a self-contained recirculating system.
The package includes a 12-volt 1,100 GPH pump and four feet of recirculating hose, giving the Gold Pup enough water flow to process material without the size and weight of a full-scale highbanker.
Two-Stage Classification and Recovery
Material is first washed inside the hopper by the built-in spray bar. Larger rocks are separated before the remaining material enters the sluice.
The lower recovery section combines ribbed matting, miner’s carpet, and hinged Hungarian-style riffles. These components create multiple opportunities to capture gold while lighter sand and gravel move out of the sluice.
Compact Recirculating Highbanker
The Gold Pup is sized to operate over commonly available plastic tubs. Add a suitable tub, 12-volt battery, and small tailings bucket to create a recirculating system for use at home, camp, or in dry locations where running water is unavailable.
It can also be operated beside a creek or stream with the included pump positioned in a suitable water source.

Setup and Operation
Position the highbanker on firm ground and adjust the legs until the sluice is stable with a consistent downward slope. Connect the hose and pump, then place the pump in a clean water source or recirculating reservoir.
Start the pump and confirm that water is distributed evenly through the spray bar and recovery section. Feed classified material gradually into the hopper. Avoid overloading the system, as excessive material can interfere with classification and gold recovery.
Adjust the slope and water flow until lighter material clears the riffles while heavier black sand remains concentrated behind them.
Easy Cleanup
The hinged riffle assembly lifts for convenient access to the miner’s carpet and ribbed matting. The aluminum riffle cage also allows a magnet to be used near the equipment to help remove accumulated magnetic black sand.
Remove and rinse each recovery component carefully into a clean tub or bucket so captured gold is not lost during cleanup.

The unit comes with 12volt 1100-gph pump and a 4ft Recirculating hose. It has adjustable legs for easy slope control and a built in spay bar, down below is ribbed miner's carpet to catch fine gold and hinged Hungarian riffles. These are made to fit in a plastic tubs. All you need is the tub,12V-lawn mower battery and a small pail to catch the waste rock. You can use the Gold Pup Highbanker in the desert or on your favorite stream or even your home garage.
The Gold Pup Highbanker will help get the gold much faster than panning or drywashing. The sluice and hopper make 47" of classifying area. The hinged riffles and cage are aluminum , making it easier to use a magnet to remove the black sand build up. Hinged riffles make for easy cleanup.
