How Dream Mat Vortex Technology Works
Traditional sluice matting relies on riffles, grooves, or textured surfaces to help retain heavier materials.
Dream Mat uses specially shaped recovery cells that create localized vortex action as water flows over the mat.
These cells help concentrate heavier particles, including gold, while lighter material continues downstream.
For small-scale cleanup work, the Micro Dream Mat provides an efficient way to process material without requiring a full-size sluice.
Actual gold recovery depends on water flow, material size, feed rate, and proper setup.
Perfect for Fine Gold Cleanup
The Micro Dream Mat is useful for:
-
Processing concentrates from larger sluice boxes
-
Recovering fine gold from classified material
-
Working gold-bearing black sands
-
Upgrading compatible Banjo Pan equipment
-
Small-scale gold prospecting and sampling
-
Custom rain gutter sluice projects
-
Portable cleanup setups
Fits the Banjo Pan and More
Originally developed in response to customer demand, this compact Dream Mat is intended for use with compatible small recovery equipment.
Common applications include:
Banjo Pan: Add Dream Mat vortex recovery technology to your existing setup.
Prospectors Dream Clean-Up Buddy: Use the mat in a compatible Buddy sluice configuration.
DIY Mini Sluices: Incorporate the mat into appropriately sized homemade cleanup equipment.
Because equipment dimensions and configurations can vary, some installations may require minor trimming.
