The 16" Type Z Slim Crevice Tool is designed to reach deep into narrow bedrock cracks, seams, and other difficult areas where placer gold can become trapped. Its long, slender steel body and curved Type Z profile allow prospectors to loosen and pull compacted material from crevices that are difficult to clean with conventional hand tools.
Made in the USA from solid American steel, this lightweight but rugged tool is well suited for crevicing, sniping, sluicing, dredging, and general placer-gold recovery. The comfort-grip handle provides a more secure hold while working around wet, muddy, or uneven bedrock.
Curved Type Z Profile
The curved working profile provides useful angles for reaching beneath ledges, following irregular cracks, and pulling packed gravel toward the operator. Its slim 1/8" construction fits into narrow openings while the 16" overall length provides extended reach.
Use it to loosen clay, gravel, sand, and compacted material before removing the loosened concentrates with a scoop, spoon, brush, suction bottle, or crevice vacuum.
