Recommended Operation

Position the sluice securely in a suitable section of moving water. Adjust the angle and water flow until the Micro Mat cells remain active and exchange lighter material without becoming packed.

For the best fine-gold performance, classify oversized rocks, break apart clay and feed material gradually across the width of the sluice. Because the Micro profile is intended for fine-gold recovery, controlled feed rates and properly prepared material will generally provide better results than overloading the mat with large, unclassified gravel.

Fast Cleanup

Stop feeding material and allow the remaining light material to clear. Release the pressure clamp, carefully remove the Micro Dream Mat and rinse it into a gold pan or cleanup tub. The removable, riffle-free design makes it easy to inspect and process the resulting concentrates.

Important Mat Information

Micro Dream Mats feature a tight, complex molded profile. Small air bubbles or minor surface imperfections may occasionally be present and do not affect mat performance. Mat color may vary according to the manufacturer’s current production run.
