I bought this for my wife she doesn't hunt anymore so I use it for my shop and I took it apart for ease of use for identifying metal in lumber before I used it for the shop I modified the pinpoint button with a momentary switch it works awesome as ponpointing worked great but the push button was hit or miss anyway so this is a great detector (not a toy) it has great depth and sensitivity it's id'ing is on point I've had detectors that cost thousands and I use the deus 2 now for hunting but this one impresses for the price for the price it's hard to beat as a post note :don't be afraid to switch out the switch the pins are easy to locate and with a drill and an iron you can make this even better this mod is unnecessary but makes hunting a lot funner
