Nokia plusdive field test

First of all I really like the size of the machine and how simple it is to use.

The reviews I was looking at after I purchased the pulsdive, showed a lot of cracking where the 2 pieces fit together. The plastic material seems thin in that location so I have been very careful when installing the coil.

I tested the 8” coil in the ocean on a metal hair clip and it didn’t pick it up. I also tested it in the dry sand on a very thin white gold ring and it didn’t pick it up either. I then tested on a bigger white gold ring in the open air and it picked it up very strong. Loose change is hot or miss, doesn’t seem consistent. Overall, I concluded that it will pick up good quality and larger items and not so much trash but seems like it will miss smaller quality items however.

If you just want to find bigger, quality items it seems like it’ll be just fine. I’m am curious how the smaller coil would do on my test targets…
