11 inch plastic gold pan with deep rifles, a big bottom and a deep drop from the sloped sides to the bottom. This pan is great as a back pack gold pan or to finish gold. The deeper riffles work well for sampling in creek, but not too deep so you can still use it for a finish pan. The other side of the pan has a special texture to aide in retaining fine gold during a clean up. Dropped bottom helps retain heavy materials. You will love this gold pan.

1849 pan . My favorite.

It is light and has a edge at the bottom. That edge or drop helps catch the gold as pan. The riffles work very good. The orange peel side is great for finishing. I also like the size of the bottom. It is the perfect size to help separate gold from blacksand.

My favorite pan

Out of all the pans I have used this is my favorite, mainly because the ridge around the bottom helps gold stay in the pan and it's the perfect size.
